While this is not the easiest piece that I had to write about, this is one which is the most important. With this being said, I want this to be an outline of who Joe is deep down. To start off, Joe is caring, easy-going, and driven when he feels that it complies with his end goal or fixed goal at the time. Furthermore, Joe is trigged by things he sometimes can't control such as making friends, keeping friends and establishing relationships as a whole.
Though he has been through several difficult circumstances in his life; godmother's death, death of beloved dog, friend moving away, learning disabilities. This isn't an excuse for the lack of ambition to be better than he was yesterday. Due to him realizing this, he has difficulty looking forward or even staying in the present as he often looks back and wishes things happened different one prime example of this is in high school when he talked to Taylor Harrison, though he never dated her he knew in a way that he could and because of that he regrets his impulses which caused him to lose something which could have been meaningful.
After his time in high school he transitioned into the college atmosphere very unsure of who he was and what he wanted out of life. (To be honest I still don't know if he knows what he wants). Due to this realization his life seems to be in a consistent circle, one which doesn't work like a gear switching from one to the next. since he does have a learning disability, he does have a few gifts. The first gift given to him is that he is resilient through most of his life he never had a friend, due to this he is thick skinned a doesn't let many individuals in and when he does it doesn't always work in his favor. Another gift he has is that he knows his way around technology, for some unknown reason he has the ability to grasp this quicker than others. Lastly, he is musically driven, and this has been the only thing consistent in his life.
Due to this, I hope he stays with this as it brings him joy. In the end, he wants what we all want to be heard and know he is not alone., from one experience previously he started to adjust to his own thoughts of what his learning disability is and due to this he is slowly accepting who he is which is someone who is gifted with Autism and ADHD. Through his challenges in life he is now geared and ready for what the future has in store for him, and is grateful that the moments he took place in happened because it gave him a chance to learn more about himself and begin to accept that we all are a little different.
- Lack of understanding
- Puts others down to look better
- Runs away from responsibility
From this breakdown, one may notice that he does in face have a few things to work on. Though, he hasn't given up and will strive to control his urges and understands now that we all are different but that is not a bad thing. Yet, one struggle which will be prevalent through all this is that he runs away from things when things get difficult which is detrimental to his overall growth as a contributing member of society. In the next few months it will be interesting, to see where he ends up will he be completely different or sort of just getting by. in the end, it is up to him and he knows what he has to do now he just needs to be consistent.
