How’s life been treating you?
Life has been full as of late! Focusing on 3 major things right now: 1) In school to become a therapist; 2) Steadily promoting my new fable What Happens in Tomorrow World?; 3) Working on a storytelling ebook and class I’m really excited about. Aside from that good stuff, family and friends are healthy and that matters most.
What are your strengths & weaknesses?
I’d say my greatest weakness is focusing on the long-term, but I am getting better at that. I always want things to happen quickly, results to happen fast, so replacing long-term glory with short-term gratification is challenging, but I am getting better at it.
My greatest strength, funny enough, may be my patience. I worked with Alzheimer’s patients for years and years, and I learned how to act respectfully and patiently. This contributes to how I treat every individual with whom I connect.
Who are your biggest influences?
Mitch Albom, John David Mann, Bob Burg, Jon Gordon, Lori Gottlieb, Guy Winch.
What has been your experience at Northwestern University and NYU?
I loved my undergraduate experience mainly because of the relationships I was able to form, and NYU has been awesome thus far because I am really learning about the work I want to do in the world.
What social issues are you most passionate about?
What has been your experience as a book author through BenBella Books?
My experience has been really great! It’s a collaborative, family-like group, and we are invested in a book we truly believe in!
As an editor what are your day to day responsibilities at Mind Cafe?
I am responsible for reading the submissions and publishing stories to our Medium publication page.
What led to you creating The Journey to Cloud Nine and Getting COMFY: Your Morning Guide to Daily Happiness?
Following my curiosity. I always wondered what it would be like to put out a book, so I went and did it. I learned along the way.
What led to you founding Cloud Nine Living?
The creation of my second book The Journey to Cloud Nine gave me a business focused on helping others create meaningful and fulfilling lives and not looking back with regret.
